Records that know which knee it was
Side and site recorded properly, imaging attached to the visit, and the post-operative follow-up tracked to the end.
Orthopaedic records fail in two specific ways: laterality goes missing, and the follow-up stops being tracked once the procedure is done. OlivHealth records side and site as structured fields and keeps the whole episode — consultation, imaging, procedure, review, physiotherapy — on one continuous chart, so nobody has to reconstruct which side was operated on from a discharge summary.
Side-specific examination
Laterality and site captured as fields rather than as a sentence someone has to read carefully.
Imaging on the chart
X-ray, MRI and CT reports attached to the visit, in the context of the examination.
Episode continuity
Consultation, procedure, review and physiotherapy on one timeline instead of separate records.
Physio follow-through
Rehabilitation visits sit on the same chart, so the surgeon can see whether the patient actually attended.
Package billing
Advances and surgical packages in the patient wallet, settled visit by visit with a full trail.
Consent documents
Consents and discharge documents stored against the visit they belong to.
Go live ABDM-enabled from day one
Every practice we onboard goes live ABDM-enabled — create and verify a patient’s ABHA at registration, and let their records follow them across the health system on their consent. It’s part of onboarding, not a separate project or an extra module to buy.
Frequently asked questions
How is laterality handled?
Side and site are structured fields on the orthopaedic form rather than free text, so the record states which side unambiguously and can be read back reliably.
Do you support inpatient surgical admissions?
Not yet. OlivHealth today covers outpatient consultation, day procedures, billing and follow-up. Ward and inpatient management is not built, and we would rather say so up front.
Can physiotherapy sessions be tracked?
Yes. Physio visits sit on the same patient chart, so attendance across a rehabilitation course is visible to the treating surgeon.
Can I bill a surgical package across several visits?
Yes. Package money is held in the patient wallet and settled against bills as the episode progresses.
